Who we are
SV Lions is a program operated by Designers Grid Inc., a Delaware corporation operating in California. When this policy says "we," "us," or "SV Lions," it refers to Designers Grid Inc.
You can reach us at Hello@svlions.com.

What we do not collect
We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts on this site. We do not set cookies. We do not buy or enrich data from data brokers.
Why we collect it
- To review applications. So we can decide who joins the cohort and contact parents about consent and logistics.
- To coordinate volunteers and sponsors. So we can match interest to need, talk through fit, and follow up.
- To stay in touch about the program. Only with people who have explicitly contacted us first.
Children's data
SV Lions is designed for students ages 12 to 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 without explicit, verifiable parent or guardian consent โ captured on the application form before any data is stored.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have collected information from your child without your consent, contact Hello@svlions.com and we will delete it.
How we store and protect it
Form submissions are stored in our database hosted by Supabase (a managed Postgres provider). Access is restricted: only authenticated SV Lions staff can read submissions. Database row-level security policies prevent the public from reading any record.
Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Resend. Email content is transmitted over TLS and not stored for marketing.
The site itself is hosted by Vercel and served over HTTPS. DNS is managed through Cloudflare.
Who else sees your data
The third parties listed above (Supabase, Resend, Vercel, Cloudflare) handle data in the course of providing infrastructure. Each operates under its own privacy and security commitments. We do not share your data with anyone else for marketing, analytics, or sale.
If we are ever legally compelled to disclose information (subpoena, court order, etc.), we will comply with the minimum necessary and, where permitted, notify you.
How long we keep it
We keep application, volunteer, and sponsor records for the duration of the relevant cohort plus a reasonable archival period โ typically up to two years โ so we can re-contact alumni, follow up on future cohorts, and maintain program history.
You can request earlier deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
You can request that we:
- Send you a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your record entirely
Email Hello@svlions.com from the same address you used to submit the form. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
